Original Wiener Schnitzel in Vienna – Mariahilferbräu
The original Wiener Schnitzel made from veal – pounded thin, fried golden-brown in clarified butter and served with lemon. Just the way it should be. Enjoy this Viennese classic at Mariahilferbräu on Mariahilfer Straße 152 in Vienna’s 15th district – a traditional pub since 1870.
What makes our Wiener Schnitzel special?
We use only tender veal of regional origin. Every schnitzel is freshly pounded by hand, breaded and fried à la minute in clarified butter – the traditional Viennese way. The coating is light and wavy, the meat juicy and tender. Served with potato salad, parsley potatoes or mixed salad – best enjoyed with one of our nine draft beers.
