Before the show · Vienna 15th district
Restaurant near the Wiener Stadthalle: Viennese food before, a beer after
Mariahilferbräu is at Mariahilfer Straße 152, one U6 stop or about a 17-minute walk from the Wiener Stadthalle. Before a concert, show or match, have a Wiener Schnitzel, goulash or a vegan dish with us, and come back for a draft beer afterwards.
Getting to the Stadthalle
- By U6: a five-minute walk to Westbahnhof, then one stop to Burggasse-Stadthalle
- On foot: about 1.2 km, roughly 17 minutes
- To the Raimundtheater: about 550 m, roughly 7 minutes on foot
Plan to leave us a good half hour before doors open.
What to eat before the show
Viennese food, hot until the kitchen closes in the evening: original Wiener Schnitzel made with veal, beef goulash with bread dumpling, Tafelspitz (boiled beef), Käsespätzle (cheese noodles) and vegan dishes, in autumn also roast goose. Plus nine beers on draught.
After the event the kitchen is usually closed, but you are welcome for a beer or a wine spritzer until closing time. Exact times are below.
